Is the marketing industry and agency world still failing women?
It would be nice to think that the days of Mad Men are far behind us, but sexism in marketing and agency world sadly still persists. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we are bringing together some of the marketing world’s most inspirational females, from brands and agencies alike, to discuss how we can tackle the prejudice head on and develop a more inclusive industry.
Together, we will discuss:
- Our own experiences of sexism in their workplace and how it was overcome
- What needs to change to put an end to sexism, both within the workplace and within our marketing content and campaigns
- How marketing needs to change to better relate to women
- How to involve men in the conversation and why they should be considered part of the target audience for this message
