Unilever-owned skincare brand Dermalogica appointed a new retail marketing manager for the UK & Ireland in July. A new search & PR agency followed this month.

The brand has been getting its name out there this year with a summer Soho pop-up promoting its new Milkfoliant product. Dermalogica also unveiled its Circular Hydration Serum and Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist earlier in the year. The brand has been investing in its green credentials, adopting the first recyclable mono-material pump for one of its skincare lines. The innovative business also developed a VR avatar to help educate its skincare specialists.

Dermalogica is part of Unilever Prestige, a world-class portfolio of premium beauty brands and one of the fastest growing parts of Unilever. Unilever Prestige generated an annualised turnover of €1bn in 2021 and its EVP and Group CEO Vasiliki Petrou wants to grow this to €3bn in the next few years thanks to innovation, digitisation and purpose. To date, Dermalogica has been focusing on digital and press advertising in the UK.
