Treatwell is on a mission to digitally revolutionise the hair and beauty community and become the ‘Deliveroo of beauty’. Its salon management software is used by over 40,000 salon partners across 13 countries and processes over 5 million bookings a month. The business has huge potential for growth, with Treatwell suggesting that only 5% of salon bookings are currently made online.
Earlier this year, the B2B business unveiled its Treatwell Pro platform, offering improved services to its salon clients. It also completed its merger with competitor Uala, combining under the Treatwell name. Treatwell has outlined plans to expand its global workforce with 600 new employees by the end of 2023, for an investment of up to £34m.
On the advertising front, Treatwell has just launched a review of its media planning and buying account, suggesting a potential change in strategy on the horizon.
