Welcome to the Tanba privacy policy. We respect your privacy and personal data, and our privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use our website or contact us by email or telephone.

Visitors to our website

When someone visits www.tanba.io we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. If we do collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be transparent about this. We will make it clear when and what personal information we collect and will explain what we intend to do with it.

People who use our services, or subscribe to our emails

We use a third-party provider, Kulea MA to provide marketing communications. Kulea MA gathers statistics around email openings and clicks, which helps us monitor and improve our content. Kulea MA store all their data within the EU. If you have consented to receive marketing news from us, you can choose to opt out at any point by using the unsubscribe link or emailing unsubscribe@tanba.io.

People who register for one of our events or training

We use a third-party encrypted service, Eventbrite, to collect personal information which enables us to provide tickets for our events. If you register for an event, this information will be retained within Eventbrite and we may contact you with ‘Legitimate Interest’ to invite you to similar events. We will not share data with other organisations, if you would like to unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications such as event invites, please email unsubscribe@tanba.

People who apply for a job at Tanba

To provide you with relevant employment opportunities with Tanba we need to process certain information about you. We only ask for details that will help us to help you, such as; your name, contact details, education details, address, employment history, immigration status and salary or day rate.

Where appropriate, and in accordance with local laws and legislations, we may also collect information related to your health, diversity and details of any criminal convictions. All data collected is solely used by Tanba staff only to inform you of any relevant job opportunities with Tanba that fit your requirements. We will not share any of the information you provide with outside sources without your permission.

If we have not had meaningful contact with you for a period of one year, we will delete your personal data from our system unless we believe in good faith that the law or other regulation requires us to preserve it (for example, because of our obligations to tax authorities or in connection with any anticipated litigation).

Access to personal information, and how we protect it

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some, or all, of your personal information, please contact us.

In most circumstances we will not disclose personal data without consent. However, we reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to enable us to prevent and detect crime and to produce anonymised statistics.

We attain data from sales prospecting platforms Alf, Winmo and Prospect.io. We use their GDPR compliant databases to help us reach out to those with a legitimate interest in our services.

Crystal Knows

Sometimes we use Crystal Knows to gain personality insights so we can tailor our outreach. It is a platform where people can fill out personality tests and share their personality profile, they then use this to provide personality predictions based on the person’s writing style.
